​Translating and Reading Aloud

Step 1. Right-click anywhere on the white space of the page.

(To translate, start with the English version. This ensures the translation engine has the most accurate "source" material, preventing errors that can happen when translating between two different foreign languages.）

 

 

 

Step 2.  If the language shown is not yours (Greek e.g.), click the translation icon in your address bar and select "Choose another language (Estonia e.g.)."

Step 3. Click "Voice Options" on the URL bar.

Step 4. Click the voice in the box under "Choose a voice.

 

Step 5. Click Microsoft Anu Online (Natural) - Estonian (Estonia).

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Please note that English always appears first on the list, followed by languages recently used. All other languages appear in alphabetical order.

Step 6. Click the Translate icon.

Step 7. Click Estonian.

​

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 8. Click the Read Aloud icon.

​

​​​​​​Voila! You have now completed all the translation steps, the entire website has been translated from English into Estonia, and you are now ready to read aloud any webpage in your Estonian language!

​Please note, "English" after the American flag will have changed to "Englanti." This signifies that the website has indeed been translated.

​​​​​​​​​Returning to English / American Flag

 

 

Step I.

To change a Non-Flag Language back to English — 

​​First click "Voice options" then choose an English speaker.

​

 

 

 

 

 

Step II.

​Once the voice has been changed to an English speaker —

​Merely click the "Read aloud" icon to make it disappear.

​

Step III.

​With the "Read aloud" icon gone from the URL bar —

Click the Translate icon.​

 

 

Step IV.

​After clicking the Translate icon, the [Translate again?] user box  —

Put a check mark in the box next to "Always translate pages from English," then click "Show original" opposite the blue Translate button.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

​​After the step above has been executed, the entire website will change back to English. You can now once again read aloud all the webpages in English.

​

Note: When you are back to English, you can read aloud any Flag Language by merely clicking its flag icon. In other words, the translation and the voice are done automatically without you doing anything.
